Discomblogulated

We are soo busy at the moment, I've become DISCOMBLOGULATED ( have I spelled that correctly?) So, while I'm blogging, I may as well mention the Great Art Hub show we did last weekend.
It was fun going to the private view and watching people look and then touch our rock cushions!
For anyone who missed a chance to buy one of our fab Glovie Frame bags before Christmas, there is still a chance to win one. It was featured in the Lady magazine in the Lady Loves column ( thank you
The Lady)! Here is the link to enter the competition http://www.lady.co.uk/competitions/competition/170-win-a-glovie-frame-handbag-worth-280

thimbles, magic sewing machines and Pure fun.

Here is a close up of one of our thimble catches. I love the combination of the sterling silver and the lilac leather

Some people have magic carpets...this is a magic sewing machine.

And we flew with it to Pure London. This is our stand.

Wisconsin Wildlife

... just back from Wisconsin where summer is in full swing. On the first morning I saw a wild rabbit hopping along the pavement early in the morning. Then I met these chicks, who we nicknamed "the Supremes". Here they are in their beautiful, inspirational nest.

They were just starting to get their adult feathers when we left. There were three squirming around.

How to spot the real thing

For years now, we have been hearing "ooohs and ahhhhs " from our customers when they see our  vintage cotton linings. But it takes more than a beautiful lining to make a Coco Barclay bag. If in doubt about the authenticity, do what the pharmaceutical industry suggest and, " always read the label"!
