Birthday post

Woke to the news that the Green Bay Packers WON the Super Bowl !! They are not only my hometown team, but I like their graphics and my own family has a quirky history with the team in the days of Vince Lombardi! Speaking of hometowns, this is what mine looks like now, after 18 inches of snow.

But we live in London and a quick trip to Hadlow in Kent, reminds us of what a winter garden might look like where 18 inches of snow is unlikely ( it would be centimetres anyway )

What do accessory designers do in their spare time ? They work, OF COURSE... But sometimes they get together with people associated with the arts and have a wild evening sharing needles - felting needles ; which are dangerous and fun in equal measures. Here are some of the results.

After I made this FABULOUS NEW BAG and photographed it, I looked at this photo and thought of certain special people who wear ties and I am going to call it the Executive Silk Tie bag??... or something like that.It has been fascinating ( no - trying ! ) tying the ties.It really feels like I am exploring some forbidden world...What I have learned is that it must take superhuman to get out every morning wearing one of these.Every time I do it , I find some reason to try again, as something is not quite right.How do men do it?
