We are getting ready for Paris ! Actually , we are packing and sending off lots of beautiful bags for shops and finishing off jewellery orders so I hope there will still be time for the new samples using vintage cotton lace.

THE JOYS OF BOYS
I noticed this the other day and it really seemed symbolic. You can tell that not only
are they at home but they must all be in bed because their are no extra pairs as there would be if friends were over. You can also see that we have just come back from the States ( they are all new shoes ) because we like to go to a particular shop on the way home from Pine Lake !

Back to the holiday ... this is the Lawrence Creek. Another degree and I think the water would have been ice which is why it is best visited on a hot day.The best thing about it ( if you like adventure ) is that the river bed changes rather dramatically from 3 feet deep to 5 with little or no warning , and the bottom is often quicksand , AND I thought it prudent to wear shoes ! Well they are no longer shoes , they are surviving relics, but I sort of love those shoes more now. Thanks to Eric , our irrepressible guide and Dr.Ellen !!

I usually like to have a picture handy when I write a post but I have to make an exception now.We had a beautiful stall at the Thames Festival last weekend. Thanks to everyone who came, making it our best yet, not to mention the times people came and simply said, "congratulations " to us
or that ours was the best stall at the Festival ! I think Londoners and the people who visit London , make it a great city. But enough of London - we have to brush up on our French as we are off to Paris to show at Workshop Paris/Tokyo Also, check out Zoe Boomer who is showing there too.

We hit the town of Hustisford , where the population must have swelled when the car show came to town! I hope I'm right when I say this is a Bel Air ( made by a company whose name I will try to find out ). I think this would have been the choice for a female movie star !

This is Camper Island , photographed from Antony Island. My eldest wrote a story about the island but called it ,"Wildflower Island " and it is also known as " Electric Island " as it is the only island in Sinissippi to have electricity ! Half of the island is uninhabited and the other half ( where we stay in the house my grandfather built ) is pretty empty too, except for herons , marten , chipmunks and of course the mozzies!
